Y’all, I promise I’ve been reading…

It’s not my fault standalone fantasy books are an extremely rare find! However, as a wee palette cleanser, I indulged in a light romance. The Pumpkin Spice Cafe by Laurie Gilmore could not have been a more perfect way to kick off October. I listened to it on Audible, and whoever this narrator was, someone needs to hire her to tell stories by the fire. Perfection.

While the book itself was short and sweet, it still kept my attention. Which, if you know me, is not easy when it comes to romance books. I think my DNF’d romance list is longer than my romance TBR.

All-in-all, if you’re looking for a cutesy little story to enjoy with your first hot latte of the year, look no further than the Pumpkin Spice Cafe by Laurie Gilmore.
